A WORD FROM YOUR PTSA:  EASY MONEY

We don’t have pesky brochure sales or other obvious and overt fundraising efforts but we are engaged in a few projects that require only minimal effort from you:

*Verizon

          If you are thinking of switching to Verizon, please consider following this procedure to earn funds for the AHS.

            In order for the PTSA to get credit for your order, call 1-888-695-5299 and provide the PTSA’s code:  12894 when placing your new Verizon order.  Orders placed online or through another phone number will not apply.

            Listed below is what we receive for each order.  We can earn up to $65 on one qualifying Verizon FIOS Triple Freedom (TV, internet and phone) order.  As you can see, this could be a very profitable and easy fundraiser.  To date, Annapolis High PTSA has received over $700 from Verizon.  Tell your friends and family too!

• $25 for a new Verizon FIOS Internet or Verizon High Speed Internet

   

• $20 for Verizon FIOS TV or DIRECTTV

   

• $10 for Phone (Verizon Freedom Calling, Verizon Long Distance or Additional Line)

   

*E-Scrip

If you are a Safeway Shopper with a Club Card, various promotions will enable our PTSA to profit from your grocery purchases.  All you need to do is to go to http://www.escrip.com/ and register your Safeway Club Card and/or any other participating cards that you have.  Indicate that you wish to support our Annapolis High School PTSA by using our group number, 6642585.  Here’s how it works:

• You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program.

   

• Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.

   

• Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child’s behalf.  Last school year, our PTSA earned over $1500 because families who shopped at Safeway registered their Safeway Club Card on e-scrip.

   

      Empty cartridges that we recycle result in $2 to $12 per item for our PTSA.  They can be deposited in the box located in the main office.  If you would like to schedule a pickup for your office, email annapolishighrecycles@comcast.net. Through the time and efforts of fundraising chair Beth Bodkin, the PTSA has received hundreds of dollars from this initiative.  This project can be time intensive for one person (averaging about 15 hours a month) as it is necessary to pack up and ship the cartridges.  We encourage and welcome anyone who can assist Beth with this.  Please leave a note for the PTSA box at school or email pkbukowski@msn.com with your name, email and phone number.

*Panera Coupon Strips-$10 apiece

    We do have the very popular Panera Bread Coupon Strips available for sale.  You have your choice of (1) Bagel strip which provides 6 coupons for 3 bagels each (18 bagels for $10), or (2) Variety strip which provides coupons for several different products.  For every strip sold, the PTSA earns $5.
